To deliver this, Matrix added Matrix Aerial for Field Hockey to its family, a product with a shorter pile height and pea gravel-only infill that reduces ball friction and increases both ball speed and foot traction. Similarly, Matrix Real was developed to deliver the characteristics of a superior soccer pitch, including heavy usage and a natural-looking surface strong enough to withstand cleat dribbling, breakaways, tackles, and sprints. To do that, Matrix Real was developed with denser artificial turf fibers and a heavier pile weight than the original Matrix Turf. Matrix Turf for multi-purpose sports focuses on withstanding heavy use for all turf sports and minimizing downtime. The product delivers a standard pile height that can bring durability and consistency of play for all major sports.
